It is evident that the world needs to conserve energy, and so an Energy Saving Week strongly encourages such efforts. It is important to publicize such an opportunity.
It generally viewed that Africa, (due to its dependence on weather patterns for agriculture-both for food production and for income generation) is likely to be one of the regions most affected by climate change. There is the need to bring this and other such campaigns to Africa, as well strengthen alternative options such as recycling for environmental preservation. It is said that the current generations do not really own the earth, but rather, are simply guardians, standing in for future generations. Undeniably, and from this point of view, every effort towards preserving our environment counts.
